How To Interpret Your Dreams

I have a recurring dream with slight variations. I find myself in a strange city and have to go the airport and catch a plane. But I can’t find my way to the Hotel to grab my baggage. When I finally get there the suitcases are not packed, and the hour of departure is very close. In some variations I get to the airport, but when I get there the plane is leaving.

Now, according to Freud dreams are a reflection of suppressed desires, usually of a sexual nature. It could be true, but the Zurich school, with Maeder and Jung, say that dreams are an illustration of the state of the dreamer, not only of his sexual instincts but of his aspirations toward a goal.

This takes us to the question, does my dream means that I am not getting the sexual satisfaction I desire or does it mean that I can not achieve a perfection for which I strive or a goal I cannot arrive at, for instance having financial or professional success.

Perhaps other readers have a similar dream and a better interpretation. Leave your comments in my blog.
